Joseph Clark, 1810

This is affirmed to be the will of Lieutenant Joseph Clark by him by
word of mouth declared this fifth of January 1810 in presence of the
witnesses whose names are undersigned.
He left and devised to his beloved wife the one half or moiety commonly
called the Widow's Moiety of all his houses, lands, goods, chattels, and
effects. To hold to her her heirs and assigns forever.  He left the other
half or moiety of the said houses, lands, goods, chattels, and effects to
his wife during her life and to her children equally between them after
his death.  But if any of the children should die before her under age and
without issue the share of such child or children to go to the survivors.
And if any of them should die before her leaving issue then the share of
such child or children to go to the issue.
He appointed his wife sole executrix and guardian of the children under
age and hereby declares this to be his last will and testament.
