The last will and testament of James Radcliff of the parish of KK
Andreas being of sound disposing mind and memory at the making hereof. First
I commit my soul to Almighty God who gave it and my body to
decent Christian burial after the discretion of my executrix and as for such
worldly substance wherewith I hath pleased God to bless me I
dispose of the same in the following manner.
I leave unto my son Thomas a sheep and my apparel or cloathes as legacy.
I leave unto my loving wife Catherine my share of the bed and likewise my
share of the ----- as legacy.
I leave unto any person who may have a right to any share of my goods I
leave unto unto such person or person two shillings as legacy.
I leave unto the witnesses of this my last will and testament two
shillings each.
Lastly I nominate constitute and appoint my loving wife Catherine and
my daughter Mary whole and sole executrixes of this my last will and
testament and I leave unto them all the rest of my goods moveable and
immoveable of what kind and description soever to be by them peaceably
possessed and enjoyed this 18th day of August 1810.

At a Chapter Court holden at Ramsey the 29th May 1811
The executrixes are sworn in court in form of law and have given pledges for
the payment of debt and legacies namely the witnesses of the will.
