71 Lonan
In the name of God Amen. I Margaret Moore of Laxey
in the parish of KK Lonan being sick and weak but of
perfect mind and memory and considering the uncertainty
of this life do first and principaly recomend my soul
to God who gave it and my body to the earth to have
a decent Christian burial at the decretion of the Exectors
and with such wordly goods as it has pleased God to prosper
me with I do demise and bequeath in the following
manner.
Item I leave and bequeath to my loving daughter Ann
all my wooling and linen clothes or aperial that
are made up
Item I leave and bequeath to my loving Gradson
Thomas my part or share of a boat or yaul
Item I leave and bequeath to each of my relations who
may claim in my will one shilling
Item I leave and bequeath to my loving son James and
Judy his wife joint and whole Executors of all the
residue of my goods chattles credits andeffects of
whatever denomination whatever disanuling any
other or former will I masy have made and ratifying
and confirming this to be my last will and testament
in presence of but in particular I leave my loving
son James my whole right to the salmon fishery in
Laxey river. 19 December 1805

Notwithstanding this will having been
proved but by one witness yet no objection
being offered James Moore the Executor named
in the will is sworn Executor and hath
given Pledges for the payment of Debts and
Legacies namely Patrick Killip and
Patrick Callow both of Lonan.
