          Braddan 
This is the last will and testament of us Samuel Quine of Douglas,
Cooper, and Isabella Quine otherwise Kissack his wife being of sound
mind memory and understanding at the making hereof and hereby
revoking all other will or wills by us heretofore at any time or times
made.
First We give devise leave and bequeath to the survivor of us for and during
the natural life of such survivor all our houses and concerns to which we
are entitled situate in the town of Douglas under a deed or
Deed of Sale made by Mrs Mary Kelly widow and relict of Mat Kelly
deceased as by deed dated 12 Sep 1784 may appear.
Item we give devise and bequeath after the death of such survivor the
said houses and concerns to our daughter Catharine Quine her heirs executors
and assigns subject nevertheless to the payment of one hundred and fifty
pounds Manks currency to be made to and among the children of our son Samuel
Quine after his death.  And subject to the payments of lawful interest for
the said sum of one hundred and fifty pounds Manks to the said Samuel Quine
during his natural life.
Item We give and bequeath to our son in law Thos Christian five
shillings.
Lastly we constitute and appoint the survivor of us executor or executrix of
this our last joint will.
In witness whereof we have hereunto put our names this 7th Dec 1811.

At Douglas Jan 31 1812 The survivor Isabella Quine is sworn executrix
in court in form of law and hath given pledges for the payment of debts and
legacies namely Samuel Quine of Douglas and Patrick Kewley of
Marown             Probatum est  T. Stephen

By virtue of the Revšnd Vicar Genl Stephen's authority I have charged
John Cæsar Gelling and Thomas Gelling of Douglas witnesses and Samuel Quine
and Catherine Quine next of kin to appear before his Rev at a court to be
holden at Douglas on the 31st instant by ten of the clock in the forenoon to
answer the petition of Isabella Quine this 29th day of
January 1812 Wm Cowley Sumner of Braddan
