25 Ramsey
This is affirmed to be the last will and testament of
Daniel Lace of the town of Ramsey who was of a sound mind
& memory at the making hereof-
First - He commits his Soul to God & his body to a
Christian burial -
Item he leaves and bequeaths to his two sons namely
Thomas and John Lace five shillings manx each as Legacy-
Item he leaves and bequeaths to his two Daughters Mary
and Jane Lace ten shillings manx each as Legacy-
And lastly he nominates constitutes ordains and appoints
his loving wife Mary Lace als Joughin whole and sole
Executrix of all the rest of his worldly goods, credits,
chattels and effects of what kind or denomination soever,
moveable or Unmoveable and he bequeaths one shilling and
six pence to each of the Witnesses of this his last will.

At a chapter court holden in Ramsey 28th October 1812 the
exec. is sworn in court in form of law and hath given
pledges for the payment of debts and legacies namely the
witnesses.
