This is the last will and testament of Margaret Maddrell alias Taggart of
the parish of Malew.  Being of sound mind and memory at the making hereof.
First and principally she committed her soul to God and her body to
Christian burial..
She left demised and bequeathed unto their eldest son William Maddrell
twenty pounds British in order to send him to a trade providing he doth
not be the said Wm Maddrell his fatheršs estate of Granby aforesaid.
She left demised and bequeathed unto her second son John Maddrel the sum of
twenty pounds British in order to send him unto a trade.
She left demised and bequeathed  unto her third son Paul Maddrell the
sum of twenty pounds British in order to send  him unto a trade.
She left demised and bequeathed unto her fourth son James Maddrell the sum
of twenty pounds British in order to send him unto a trade.
And lastly she did nominate constitute and appoint John Maddrell her
loving  husband whole and sole executor of this her last will and
testament all and singular her goods cash chattels effects and credits of
whatsoever kind or nature and paying unto all claimants that will or
shall claim the sum of six pence British unto each and she did utterly
disallow revoke and disannull all and every other former testament wills
legacies and bequeathes by her made and executed and do declare this to be
her last will and testament.
