Patrick
This is affirmed to be the last Testament of Alice Key alias Quane made by her the 2nd of July and
written the 8th of the same being weak in body but perfect in mind and memory at the making
hereof this 8th of July 1812.
First she willed her soul to god and her body to a Christian Burial.
Secondly she left and bequeathed unto her son James bed cloth that is a quilt two blankets and a
bolster and a bed stead that was in the (smudged words) kitchen and the dresser if he will come to
the Island and provided he will not come her son Pattrick is to prove them.
Thirdly she left unto William Quirk a large cask that is in Richard Quirk his father.
Fourthly she left the use of a large chest to Anne Cottier until her son James would come for it.
Fifthly and lastly she left her son Pattrick whole executor of all her good living or dead or
whatsoever nature and provided her son James would come he the said Pattrick is to give him his
meat with the said Pattrick's family and if any person or persons claims any thing to the contrary he
is to be paid with legacy according to law.
