This is affirmed to be the last will and testament of Mary Caine
Widow of Ballachroink in Onchan who was of sound and disposing
mind, memory and understanding at the making thereof.
She commended her soul to the Mercy of Almighty God and her body
to christian burial.
Her personal estate and disposable effects she left and bequested
as followeth:
First she left and bequeathed unto her son Mathias Caine her
Chest and the bedclothes which is now in use on her bed.
Item she left and bequeathed unto her daughter Mary Quay alias
Caine a cotton bedgown, Best Check apron and her shoes.
Item she left and bequeathed unto her Grand daughter Ann Caine
a Cotton gown.
Item she left and bequeathed unto her Grand daughter Catherine
Caine her best shawl.Item she left and bequeathed unto Catherine
Quine Widdow of the parish aforesaid, her green petty coat.
Item she left and bequeathed unto James Moore's wife of the said
parish the coverlaid which is in her son John Caine's care and
custody.
Item she left and bequeathed unto her Grand daughter Elizabeth
Caine her blue gown and her ----- gown. (indecipherable)
Item she left and bequeathed unto Catherine Kelly Widdow of the
said parish her blue linen ----- . (indecipherable)
Item she left and bequeathed unto her son Philip Caine a silk
handkerchief.
Item she left and bequeathed unto her son John Caine one shilling.
Item she left and bequeathed unto her daughter in law Catherine
Caine her bonnet.
Lastly she nominated and appointed her daughter Isabella Caine
Whole and Sole Executrix of all the rest of her Goods of
whatsoever nature and description and also of this her last will
and testament.
Revoking any former will which may have been made heretofore and
appointed this to be her last will and testament.
