Joney Cowley otherwise Teare of the parish of Kirk Andreas having departed this life 
sometime in the month of July last intestate and the court having received intelligence 
thereof hath decreed her only daughter Jane sole administrator of all singular her goods 
rights credits chattels and effects moveable and immovable whatever and Simon Fargher 
the husband of husband of said Jane is therefore sworn well and truly to admininster the 
estate of the intestate to pay all her just debts so far forth as goods will extend and the law 
bind him and to return a perfect inventory to the Episcopal Registry and to those ends he 
hath given pledges in form of law namely Thomas Sayle and John Radcliffe both of 
Andreas
