The humble petition of Robert Quayle of the parish of Kirk Michael and Elizth Quayle 
als Quine his wife and Thomas Quine of Jurby ~
Sheweth
That Isabel Quine of the parish of Onchan the late Mother of your [petitoners] 
Elizabeth & Thomas Quine, departed this life in the beginning of the month of January 
last past, interstate ~
That your Petitioners are anxious that Letters of Administration of the Estate and 
Effects which were of the said Interstate may be granted to your Petitioner & the rest 
of the next of Kin of the Deceadent 
Wherefore your Petitioners humbly pray a hearing & that Ad__m of the said 
Deceadent’s Estate may be granted to her next of Kin in the usual form.
And your Petirs will pray etc
 
19th May 1813
Ordered that this Petition do come on to be heard before me at Ballayia____ee (looks 
like Ballayiarviee, probably Ballagarey?) in Marown on friday the 20th of May instant 
whereof all proper Parties & Persons concerned to have due Notice – Given this 21st 
day of May 1813 (followed by a signature possibly TStephen)

als Quine his Wife and Thomas Quine of Jurby ordered and allowed to come on to be 
heard on trial before the Rev Vicker(Vicar?) General Thomas Stephen at Ballarjarey  
(Ballagarey?) in Marown ofn friday 28th May 1813 By Which petition  I John Kelly 
Sumner of Jurby have Lawfully charged Jane Quine one of the next of kin      Charge 
Given on the 26 Day of may by me John Kelly Sumner

At an [Consistory] court holden at Balla ____ (looks like yiaree  but is probably Ballagarey) 
 
in K Marown the 28th May 1813.
Isabel Quine of the parish of K_ Conchan having in the beginning of the month of 
January last departed this life intestate, and this court having received intelligence 
thereof have decreed Robert Quayle, Thomas Quine and Matthew Quine admins of all and 
[singular] the intestates goods Rights [credits] chattels and effects 
movable and immovable whatever and they are_____sworn faithfully to administer the 
same, to pay all her just debts so far forth as goods will extend and the law bind 
them, to return a perfect inventory into the Episcopal Registry, & to render a true 
account of their [admin] when thereunto lawfully required, and to these ends they 
have given pledges in [form] of law namely Thomas Quine of Jurby and William Quine 
of Braddan Decretum Est

By virtue of the Rev’nd Vicar Gen T Stephen’s authority I have charged Mathias Quine 
William Quine John Quine Robert Quirk & Isabella his Wife of Braddan as next of kin to 
appear before his Rev. at a court to be houlden at Marown on Friday the 20th ……. 
(instant?) by ten of the clock in the forenoon to answer the suit of Robert Quayle and 
Elizabeth his wife and Thomas Quine this 21st of May __13 ___ (Wm?) Cowle
