I Mary Killip als Cowley widow of the late Wm Killip deceased of the parish
of German being in my declining years and weak in body but of perfect and
sound mind and memory at the making hereof do make and declare this to be my
last will and testament in manner of form as follows: First I commit my
soul unto God and my body unto Christian burial. Secondly I leave and
bequeath unto my loving son John Killip the sum of ten shillings British.
Thirdly I leave and bequeath unto my loving son Thomas Killip the sum of 15
pounds British. Fourthly I leave and bequeath unto my loving daughter
Catherine Kewley als Killip the sum of fifteen in pounds British and also
the bed and bed clothes that I now lie upon. Fifthly I leave and bequeath
unto the Methodist Preaching House in Peeltown the sum forty shillings
British. Sixthly I leave and bequeath unto the poor of the parish of German
the sum of 40 shillings British. Seventhly I leave and bequeath unto my
grandaughter Ellinor Kewley the sum of 20 shillings. Eighthly I leave and
bequeath unto my servant Elizabeth Quayle that now lives with me if so be
that she continues with me until my decease a mourning gown and petticoat.
Ninthly and lastly I leave and appoint my three loving sons, Robert,
Patrick, and James whole sole and equal executors of all the rest of my
goods and effects, bills, bonds, and notes together with my interest in the
lease of lands I now hold from W. Collier, Knocksharry as be the same of
whatever kind or denomination soever and this I declare to be my last will
and testament as witnesses my name or any mark to my name the day and month
