At an Eccl Court holden in K Marown 26th Aug 1814
Mrs Elizabeth Bridson of K Malew having departed this life some time ago
intestate and this court having received intelligence thereof hath
decreed Mr Philip Bridson her late husband whole and sole administrator
of all and singular her goods rights, credits, chattels, and effects
moveable and immoveable whatever - and he is thereupon sworn
faithfully to administer the same to pay all her just debts and legacies
so far forth as goods will extend and the law bind him and to perform
and do all other things to the office of administrator appertaining and to
these ends he hath given pledges in form of law namely Philip Quirk and
Thomas Cleator both of Douglas. Decretum Est Thos Stephen
By virtue of Vicar Genl Stephen's order on the petition of Mr Philip
Bridson of Malew. I have lawfully served and charged Anne Creer and
Margaret Quinney to appear at an Eccl Court holden at ----------- in
Marown Friday next the 26 instant by ten o'clock in the forenoon to answer
the petition aforesaid and this I aver this 23rd of August 1814.
