Ballaugh
I Ann Caley wife of Patrick Caley of the Bollaugh in the parish of
Ballaugh being of perfect memory and understanding and calling to mind the
uncertainty of this life do make my last will and testament in
manner following:
First I recommend my soul to God and my body to Christian burial.
Also I leave and bequeath unto my son John the sum of five shillings
British.
And lastly I leave and bequeath unto my daughter Mary all the rest of my
goods and effects of what nature soever, and also I do nominate and appoint
her my said daughter Mary sole and whole executrix of this my
last will and testament and one shilling each to the witnesses hereof. In
testimony whereof I have hereunto subscribed my name this 8th of June 1799.

pledges being the witnesses.
