The last will and testament of Joney Caine otherwise Cannell as follows:
First I commit my soul to God and my body to Christian burial.
Secondly I leave and bequeath to my daughter Ann the wife of William Kneen
the sum of three pounds and seven pounds which she has already received and
my wearing apparel with a dark cotten gown and checked apron two
handkerchiefs and a blue callamankey petteycoat.
Third I do leave to my daughter Joney Caine the sum of ten pounds to be paid
unto her after the decease of my husband John Caine with my blue cloke my
blue pettycoat and my red handkerchief my spinning wheel and
a white cotten gown and a blanket.
Fourthly I do leave to my daughter Ellinor Caine the sum of ten pounds to be
paid after my husbands decease my red gown, my bonnet, a white cotten
handerchief a black petticoat, a chack reel, a blanket, a bedstead, and a
check apron.
Fifthly To my son Thomas Caine I do leave the sum of three pounds to be paid
after my husbands decease.
Sixthly to my son John Caine the sum of two shillings and six pence and
one shilling to any person that would presume to claim right or title in
this will.
Seventhly and lastly I do appoint my loving husband Jon Caine whole and sole
executor of all the rest of my goods movable and immovable whatsoever and to
the witnesses of this will one shilling each.
This the 12th day of March 1814

The executor is sworn in court in form of law and hath given pledges for the
payment of debts and legacies namely the witnesses of the will.

Ann Kneen als Caine daughter of the testatrix and widow of William
Kneen deceased and Thomas Morrison husband of Joney Caine another daughter
of the testatrix and John Cannell husband of Ellinor Caine also a daughter
of the said testatrix and also Thomas Caine son of the said testatrix all
appeared at the Episcopal Registry this day and jointly and severally
acknowledged to have received from the executor John Caine
the several legacies bequeathed to each of them or their wives in and by the
foregoing last will and testament of Joney Caine als Cannell
deceased and do each hereby exonerate acquit and discharge the said executor
his executors administrators and assigned of the same and of every part
thereof.
