81          Kirk Andreas
The last will and testament of Joney Lace 
otherwise Queay of the parish of Andreas who 
Departed this life about the 7th Day of March 
1814 being of sound mind and memory at the 
makeing thereof. 
First she committed her Soul to god and her 
body to Christian Burial.
Item She left her Eldest son John Lace all her 
Land Crot nead to be possessed immeadiatly after
her [Dizace] Crot nydoarlys and thoarlagehey. 
She left in her possession of her husband John Lace 
during his lifetime and also she left to her 
aforesaid son John Lace her part of the sheep and 
her part of the speckle cow and the bed whereon 
her son John laid with its cloaths as it stood Legacy.
Item She left upon her aforesaid son John Lace 
to give and pay ten pounds to her son Philip Lace Legacy.
Item She left upon her Son John Lace to pay unto 
her Daughter Joney Lace forty pounds and she left 
all her Sheapen cloath to her said Daughter Legacy.
Lastly she Nominated and appointed her Husband John 
Lace whole Execr. of all the rest of her goods 
moveable and immoveable whatsoever and a Shilling 
Each to the witnesses of her will and Sixpence 
Legacy to any person or persons that would claim 
any right or title to break her last will.

At Chapter Court holen in Ramsey the 15th June 1814
The exector is proven in Court in form of law, and 
hath given pledges for the payment of Debts and Legacies, 
namely the witnesses of the Will
