In the name of God amen I John Radcliffe
Of the town of Ramsey being of sound and
Perfect memory do therefore comit my soul to
God my Body to Christian Burial and do
Appoint this my last Will and Testament in this
Following manner
I first leave and bequeath to Thomas Martin
Of the town of Ramsey half a crown as Legacy
I leave and Bequeath to George Radcliffe my first cousin
Half a crown as Legacy.
I leave and bequeath to Margery Radcliffe my Stept mother
One shilling and sixpence as Legacy.
I leave and bequeath to my father William
Radcliffe all my clothes and one shilling
As Legacy and also six pence [very caved]
I do also apoint my mother Catherine Teare
To be my executor this 1st day of January 1814
I leave and bequeath to the witnesses
Six pence each

John Radcliffe late of the town of Ramsey
Having departed this life, but previously
Having made and published his last will
And testament hereunto annexed and his exec thereby
Appointed or her legal representative in
Her behalf having in public court decline
The “_____” of its execution, and the
Decedents father William Radcliffe
Having requested letters of admin to the
Estate of his said {illegitimate } son,
The Court doth thereupon decreed him
The said William Radcliffe sole admin
of all singular his goods rights credits
chattels and effects movable and immovable
whatever, and he is accordingly sworn
faithfully to administer the same
to pay all his just debts so far forth
as goods will extend and the Law
bind him, to return a perfect inventory
to the Episcopal Registry, and
to do all other things to the office
of admin or appertaining and to
these ends he hath given pledges
in form of Law namely Charles
Lace and William Martin both
