This is affirmed to be the last will and testament of Jane Crellin alias
Clucas of the Knock Brack in the parish of German worded and made by her
this the sixteenth day of June one thousand eight hundred and fifteen being
in sound mind and memory at the making hereof are as follows viz. In the
first place she commited her soul to Almighty God and and her body to a
Christian burial.
2ndly She left and bequeathed unto her daughter Catharine Kelly the sum of
forty pounds Manx out of said sum the executrix hereafter mentioned is to
pay, one moiety of a promissory note passed by Patrick Crellin husband of
the testator and Patrick Kelly husband of Cathrine unto John Kelly of Kirk
Patrick.
She left unto her daughters Catharine Kelly, Elizabeth Clucas and Mary
Crellin and Mary Crellin her sister in law the whole of her wearing or made
apparell to be divided equally between them except the cloak that was given
her daughter Mary and the dark best cotton gown given to her daughter
Elizabeth before. She left and bequeathed unto their man servant John
Crellin the sum of two pounds Manks.
She left and bequeathed to her son John Crellin the sum of five pounds
Manks.
She left and bequeathed unto her daughter Elizabeth the sum of forty pounds
Manks.
She left and bequeathed unto her loving husband the sum of ten pounds Manks.
She left unto her granddaughter Margaret Crellin one guinea.
She left and bequeathed unto Thos Kelly of the Bollagh one guinea in trust
for the use and to the purpose of repairing the Methodist Preaching House or
Chapel in Grebey in the parish of German.
She left and bequeathed unto her son Patrick Crellin the sum of one hundred
pounds British and a feather bed, bolster, sheet, blankett, and two quilts.
She left and bequeathed unto her sister in law Mary Crellin the sum of five
pounds Manks.
And ordered the foregoing legacies not to be paid till the expiration of one
year from her decease except twenty pounds British to be paid unto Patrick
her son out of his hundred pounds immediately after her
decease.
Lastly she nominated and appointed her loving daughter Mary Crellin whole
and sole executrix of all the rest of her goods moveable and immoveable of
what kind or denomination soever debarring all claimants and with two
shillings and six pence each.

At a Chapter Court holden at St John's the 20th Oct 1815. The executrix
sworn with pledges being the witnesses of the will.
We Patrick Kelly and Catharine Kelly my wife acknowledge to have rec'd from
the executrix of the before going will the legacy of forty pounds Manx
bequeath unto the said Catharine in and by the said will and do exonerate,
acquit, release, and discharge the said executrix her exors admors and
assigns of the same and every part thereof. . Witness our names this fourth

I William Clucas husband of the legatee Elizth Crellin do acknowledge to
have rec'd from the executrix Mary Crellin the legacy of forty pounds Manx
and all the articles bequeathed unto my said wife in and by the will of Jane
Crellin deceased and do hereby exonerate acquit release and discharge her
the said executrix her exors admors and assigns of the same and every part
thereof. Witness my name this fourth day of Dec 1816.

I Patrick Crellin do acknowledged to have rec'd from the Executrix Mary
Crellin the sum of one hundred pounds British and all the other articles
bequeathed unto me in and by the will of my mother Jane Crellin deceased and
do hereby exonerate, acquit, release, and discharge the said executrix her
exors admors and assigns of the said legacy and every part thereof.

I Mary Crellin do acknowledge to have received from the executrix of the
last will and testament of Jane Crellin deceased the legacy of 50 lbs Manx
and all the other articles bequeathed unto me in and by the will of the said
Jane Crellin and do hereby exonerate, acquit, release, and discharge the
said executrix her exors admors or assigns of the same and every part
thereof .

I Mary Crellin executrix of John Crellin servant in the before going will
named legatee do acknowledge to have received from Mary Crellin executrix of
Jane Crellin deceased the legacy of two pounds Manks bequeathed unto him the
said John Crellin and in by the will of ths said Jane and do hereby
exonerate, acquit, release, and discharge the said executrix her exors
admors and assigns of the same and every part thereof. Witness my name this
fourth day of Dec 1816.

At a Chapter Court at Mullen y Chlei - 9th June 1820.
Patrick Crellin husband of Jane Crellin of the Knock Brack deceased appeared
and acknowledged to have received the legacy of ten pounds Manx left him by
the will of Jane Crellin alias Clucas decease at the same time and place
also appeared John Crellin son of the deceased and acknowledged to have
received the legacy of five pounds Manx bequeathed to him by the aforesaid
will.
Also at the same time and place appeared Thomas Kelly - Bollagh and
acknowledged to have received the legacy of one guinea bequeathed to him by
the aforesaid will and they the aforesaid Patrick Crellin, John Crellin and
Thomas Kelly do hereby acquit, exonerate, and discharge Mary Crellin the
executrix of Jane Crellin deceased and every other person of the same and
every part thereof.
