In the name of God, amen. I THOMAS BREW JUNIOR of the Ballameanagh
in the parish of Jurby being weak and feeble in body but by the 
blessing of a sound disposing mind memory and understanding, do make 
publish and declare my last will and testament I manner and form following.  
First I commit my soul to God and my body to the earth to be buried 
in decent Christian burial.  I leave and bequeath unto my DAUGHTER ANN 
the sum of twenty shillings.  Lastly I nominate constitute appoint 
and ordain my most dearly beloved WIFE JANE BREW ALIAS STEPHEN 
sole Executrix of this my last will and testament and residuary 
legatee of all the rest of my goods cast notes credits and effects 
of whatsoever nature and denomination. In witness whereof I have 
hereunto subscribed my name this 13th day of January 1815,

Signed and declared by the Testator as and for his last will 
and testament in presence of us, Humphrey Joughin, Andrew Joughin, jur.             

AT A CHAPTER COURT holden at KK Michael 7th June 1815: 
The Executrix is sworn in Court in form of Law for the 
payment of debts and also guardian and supervisor of the 
child and PTRICK STEPHEN & ANDREW JOUGHIN both of Jurby 
are also, and to these ends she hath given pledges 
namely the witnesses of the Will.  Probatum est, Thos. Cubbon.
