80 Maughold
In the name of God Amen.
I Ann Skillicorn of the Doon in the parish of KK Maughold being at
present weak and infirm in body but of sound and disposing mind and memory
do make this my last will and testament in the manner
following.
First I recommend my soul to God and my body to Christian burial.
Secondly I bequeath and devise unto my son John all the houses and land
in the Dhoon.
And to my four sons Philip, William, Thomas, and James I bequeath and devise
five pounds each and to my daughter Ann I bequeath and devise ten pounds and
fifteen pounds Manx or the one half of the meadow.
Lastly I bequeath and devise to my loving and affectionate husband to be
whole executor of the rest of my goods moveable and immovable of whatever
kind.
In witness whereof we have cause our marks this the 9th of February 1815.

At a Chapter Court holden in Ramsey 8th June 1815.
The executor is sworn in court in form of law and hath given pledges for the
payment of debts and legacies namely Wm Kerruish one of the witnesses and
William Christian both of Maughold.
Probatum est Thos Cubbon
I Thomas Kelly husband of Anne Kelly als Skillicorn of the parish of KK
Maughold do acknowledge to have received from Philip Skillicorn late of
the parish of Maughold the executor of the last will and testament of
Anne Skillicorn deceased the sum of twenty five pounds Manks, being the
whole amount of the legacy left and bequeathed to my wife Anne Kelly in and
by the last will and testament of the said Anne Skillicorn. And I do hereby
release acquit exonerate and discharge the said Philip Skillicorn
his heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns of the same forever. As
witness my subscription this 27th day of April 1836

I Thomas Skillicorn of the parish of KK Maughold do acknowledge to have
received from Philip Skillicorn late deceased the executor of the last
will and testament of Anne Skillicorn deceased the sum of five pounds being
the whole of the legacy left and bequeathed to me in and by the
last will and testament of Anne Skillicorn. And I do hereby release
acquit exonerate and discharge the said Philip Skillicorn his heirs,
executors, administrators and assigns of the same forever.
As witness my subscription this 27th day of April 1836.
