63 Andreas The last will and testament of Gilbert Tear of the Ballabane in the parish of KK Andreas made and declared on the 18 day of January 1815 He being of perfect mind and memory at the making thereof. First He committed his soul to God and body to Christian burial. Item: He left to his son Charles Tear his part of a piece of land called Close Roneah after his decease the same being intack land. Item: He left to his son William Tear Three pounds in cash as legacy. Item: He left to all the rest of his children one crown each as legacy. Item: He left one shilling each to any person or persons who may claim any right to or in this his last will and testament. Lastly he nominated and appointed his son Charles Tear whole executor of all the rest of his goods and effects of what nature or denomination soever and to the witnesses of this will he left half crown each. Witnesses: Patrick Lace my x Thomas Radcliffe At a Chapter Court holden in Ramsey on 18th of June 1875 Notwithstanding that this will has been proved but by one witness and no objection having been offered thereto The executor is sworn in court in form of law and hath given pledges for the payment of debts and legacies namely the witness and Wm Lace of Andreas Probatum est Thos Cubbon
