     In the name of God Amen
   I Margt Hardy of the Parish of KK Bride being 
   weak in body but of perfect sound mind memory
   and understanding do make this my last will 
   and testament in manner following.
   First: I do commit my soul to the Almighty God 
   my creator and my body to be Christian decent 
   Burial.
2ndly I do leave and bequeath to my daughter Margt 
   the sum of forty pounds British as legacy 
   and I leave and bequeath to my daughter Mary 
   the sum of forty pounds British as legacy.
3dly: I do leave and bequeath to my sister Catherine 
   Christian all my wearing apparel made up before 
   my marriage and the remaining of my wearing 
   apparel made up since my marriage to my 
   daughters equally between them.
   It is also my will and desire that if it is God's will 
   that the child that I am now pregnant of should 
   survive me and arrive to the age of maturity years 
   that he or she should also entitled to the sum of 
   forty pounds British as lagacy 
   It is likewise my desire that if any of my sd daugh=
   =ters Margaret or Mary do happen to die before 
   they arrive to the age of maturity that her legacy 
   as aforesd is to go to the surviver of them.
Lastly I do nominate, constitute & appoint my 
   loving husband Wm Hardy whole and sole Extr
   of all the rest of my Goods and effects of what kind 
   and hereby revoking all 
   other wills. Any other person 
   or persons claiming under this will one shilling 
   each as legacy. In witness whereof I have hereunto 
   set my mark to my name this 29th Dec 1814

law and hath given pledges for the
