					Ep. Wills
		  Lonan 1815
	This is affirmed to be the Last Will and 
	Testament of Mary Croghan alias Kermod 
	wife of Thomas Croghan of Colby in
	 the Parrish of KK Lonan who departed 
	this life on or about the 8th of June 1813 
	she being sick and weak in Body but of 
	sound disposing mind and memory at the 
	making thereof  ----  First she comitted 
	her Soul to God and her body to Christian 
	Burial and as to her worldly Effects she 
	bequeathed them in the manner following 
	Item – She left and bequeathed all that part 
	of the Quarterland of Colby’s [flnts] situate 
	in the aforesd Parrish which herself and her 
	said husband Thos Croghan purchased 
	to her afore sd loving Husband during his 
	natural life if in case he do not again 
	marry - after his Decease to return to her 
	Daughter Jane Fargher wife of John 
	Fargher during her natural life then
	to return to her grand daughter Ann 
	Fargher, daughter of the afore sd John and 
	Jane Fargher  
	Item  She left fifteen pounds to her afore sd 
	Daughter Jane Fargher  
	Item She left five pounds to her grand 
	sons John Fargher and William Fargher and 
	Thomas Fargher to be equally divided 
	between them  
	Item She left two pounds two shillings brittish
	to her Daughter and grand daughter as afore sd 
	for mourning cloaths  
	Item She left five pounds to her afore sd 
	grand daughter Ann Fargher 
	Item She left five pounds to her son 
	John Croghan  
	She left twenty shillings to the 
	poor of the Parrish 
	Lastly she revoking all other Wills 
	heretofore all words or intentions uttered 
	declared this to be her last Will and Testament 
	and nominated and appointed therein her 
	loving Husband Thos Croghan whole 
	and sole executor of all the rest of her 
	goods and chattels both movable and 
	immovable of what kind or denomination 
	soever  
	Like wise I Thos Croghan with 
	the joint consent of my afore sd wife the 
	testator do leave and bequeath my part 
	of the purchased land 	to our afore sd 
	Daughter and grand daughter 
	Jane and Ann Fargher in manner 
	above mentioned as witness my name 
	hereunto subscribed this the 
	14th June 1813

	At a Chapter Court 
	holden in Douglas
	the 17th Feb 1815
	The Execr Thomas having confirmed 
	that his part of the lands 
	be also the right of his said 
	daughter Jane, he is therefore
	sworn in Court in Form of Law 
	and hath given pledges for 
	the payment of Debts and 
	Legacies, namely the witnesses 
	of the Will
