32      Malew 1817
In the name of the most Holy and Blessed Trinity three persons and one God
Amen.
I Margaret Bridson widdow of Malew being in a declining state and infirm
in health but yet of sound and disposing mind and memory thank God and
calling to mind the uncertainty of this mortal life and in order to settle
all my worldly goods and effects do therefore make this my last will and
testament as in manner following:
First I commit my soul to Almighty God and my body to Christian burial.
Secondly I lave and bequeath to Christopher Bridson of Ballagarey and
Ann his wife the sum of five shillings British.
Thirdly I lave and bequeath unto my daughter Elizabeth Mylchreest
widdow the sum of five pounds.
Fourthly I lave and bequeath unto the Reverend John Gell and Margaret his
wife the sum of five pounds.
Fifthly I lave and bequeath unto my daughter Ellinor Moore widdow the
sum of five pounds.
Sixthly I lave and bequeath unto my two grandsonšs Thos Bell and Christopher
Bell the sum of five pounds equally between them.
Seventhly I lave and  bequeath unto my grandson Charles Bell the sum of one
guinea.
Eighthly I lave and bequeath unto Thos Bell of Balleykilley and Esther his
wife all my right and title that I have to certain concerns of houses and
premises and appurtenances in the town of Douglas belonging to me and
also leaving and appointing the aforesaid Thos Bell and Esther his wife
whole and sole executors or executrix of all the rest of my worldly
goods and effects movable and immovable what ever and excluding and
debarring all cravers of with two shillings and six pence a piece as
legacy that can crave any right to my aforesaid goods and effects to the
contrary of this will.
And I do hereby revoke and disannull all wills formerly made by me and
published and declaring this to be my last will and testament.
And in witness where of I have hereunto caused my mark to my name this the
fifteenth of June one thousand eight hundred and fourteen.
