At an Eccl Court holden in Douglas 3 April 1818
Catharine Gracy of Peeltown in the parish of German and widow relict of
Robert deceased having departed this life on or about the 14th Feb 1817
intestate and this court having received intelligence hereof hath decreed
Thomas Carran and Thomas Taubman principal creditors of her estate
joint administrators in trust of the said intestate Catharine and they are
therefore sworn faithfully to administer all her goods rights credits
chattels and effects whatever, to exhibit a perfect inventory and pay debts
and to render a faithful account of their administration when thereunto
lawfully required, and to these ends they have given pledges in form of law
namely Thomas Curphey of Braddan and Matthias Caine of Douglas.

20 Sep 1820 - Thomas Carran claims 50 pounds British.
Thomas Taubman claims 14 pounds British.
The above claimants proved their claims before the Rev'd Vicar Genl Stephen
in a court at Douglas on 3 April 1818 but not having got a claim form the
Registry as the Letters of Administration were not then sent to record is
the cause of being dated as above.
