Robert Gracey of Peeltown in the parish of Kk German having departed
this life sometime in the month of December 1815 intestate and this
court having received intelligence thereof and upon the humble petitions
of Thomas Carran one of the principal creditors of the estate of this
intestate hath committed administration of all and singular his effects unto
the aforesaid Thomas Carran and Thomas Taubman both principal credits and
they are therefore sworn well and truly to administer the
same in trust and exhibit into the Episcopal Registry a full and perfect
inventory of the effects and pay all just debts so far forth as goods will
extend and the law bind them and to render a faithful account of their
proceedings in this administration thereunto lawfully required and to these
ends they have given pledges in form of law namely Thomas
Curphey of Braddan and Matthias Caine of Douglas
