25          Arbory
This is affirmed to be the last will and testament of Catharine Qualtrough
of Ballakilpatrick who departed this life on or about the 4th day of January
1818 who is of sound mind and memory at the making hereof upon the 24 day of
December 1817.
First she committed her soul to God and her body to Christian burial.
Secondly She left and bequeathed unto her son William Qualtrough one guinea.
Thirdly She left and bequeathed unto her son Richard one guinea.
Fourthly She left unto her son John her share of the sheep after as much as
was necessary for the funeral and her part of the yearling to her grandson
James.
Fifthly She left and bequeathed unto her daughter Margaret four guineas the
feather bed which at the time she lay on together with the bolster two
blankets or a sheet and a quilt.
She left unto daughter Jane a chaff bed a blanket and quilt.
Lastly she nominated constituted and appointed her daughter Catherine whole
and sole executrix of all the rest of her worldly goods be they of what kind
or denomination so ever and desired as the subscribing witnesses to been
witnessed unto the same the day and year above written as witness our
subscriptions

At a Chapter Court holden in Castletown 17 May 1818.
Richard Gell husband of the executrix Catherine is sworn executor in court
in form of law and hath given pledges for the payment of debts and legacies
namely John Costain the witness and William Bridson both of Arbory.
