Malew
At a Consistorial Court holden at Ramsey March the 25th 1819.
Thomas Kennish of the parish of Malew having departed this life on or about
the 20th of Feb last past intestate. The court having received intelligence
thereof hath decreed his six children namely Daniel, John, William, Thomas
Kennish and Jane the wife of Peter Fargher and
Elizabeth the wife of Thomas Quinney co administrators of all and
singular his goods rights credits chattels and effects moveable and
immovable whatever. Daniel aforesaid with Peter Fargher and Thomas Quinney
are sworn in trust by consent of the majority well and truly to administer
the estate of the intestate to exhibit a full true and perfect inventory
thereof in to the Episcopal Registry to pay all his just debts so far forth
as the goods will extend and the law bind him to be true and
just to their co administrators in the division of the residue of the
estate and to be accountable for their administration whenever there
unto lawfully required. And to these ends they have given pledges in
form of law namely John Teare Ballaugh Robert Fargher Ramsey and Patrick
Caley Lezayre. Decretum est Thos Cubbon
Whereas administration of the estate of Thos Kennish deceased of the parish
of Malew are to be granted at a Consistorial Court to be held at Ramsey on
the 25th of March instant we John Kennish and William
Kennish sons's of the said deceadent and Peter Fargher son in law of the
said Thos Kennish deceased are desirous and do agree that Daniel Kennish and
Thomas Quinney both of the parish of Santon be appointed and sworn
administrators in trust of the said estate as witness our names this
23rd March 1819.
