3                    Lonan

In the name of God Amen                 March the 20th 1818
This is affirmed to be the last Will and Testament of Thomas Kneale of Kk
Lonan who was in sound and disposing mind memory and understanding at the
making hereof in manner as follows
I Commend my Soul to the mercy of Almighty God and my Body to Christian burial
My worldly goods and effects I dispose of Vizt
I leave and Bequeath to my Son John Kneale all my wearing apparel   one
Coverlaid and two Blankets and five pounds in Cash
Item   I leave and bequeath to my grandchild Ann Kneale Daughter to my Son
Thos Kneale twenty pounds manks and a Feather bed and bedding
Item, I leave and bequeath to my Daughter in law Mary Kneale widow my right
in and to the Cattle (or Cows and heffers) on the premisses where I now dwell
Item, I leave and bequeath to Thomas Skillicorn son to Thos Skillicorn and
Isabella Skillicorn alias Kneale (Deceased) two Guineas and should the said
Thomas Skillicorn die a Minor the Legacy is not to be paid by my Exor
Lastly I nominate and appoint my Grand Sons Thos Kneale and John Kneale
(Sons to Thos Kneale deceased) jointly Exors of all the rest of my Goods
and effects of Whatsoever nature or description and of this my last will
and Testament revoking all former wills in presence of
Witnesses

                        At a Chapter Court holden in Douglas on the 25th May 1819
The Executors are Sworn in Court in form of Law and to be true and just the
one to the other in the division of the Effects and have given Pledges for
the payment of Debts and Legacies namely the witnesses of the will

I John Kneale of the Town of Douglas Do acknowledge to have received from
John and Thomas Kneale of the parish of Kk Lonan Executors of the last Will
and Testament of Thomas Kneale late of the parish of Kk Lonan deceased the
sum of five pounds all the wearing apparel of the dec'd a coverlaid and two
blankets being the whole of the Legacy bequeathed to me in the said Will of
my father and I do hereby release, acquit, exonerate and discharge the said
John Kneale and Thomas Kneale their Exors, [admors] and assigns of the same
and every part thereof   As witness my subscription this Twelfth day of
Febry 1821

I Thomas Cowley husband of Anne Cowley als Kneal of the Parish of Kk Lonan
do acknowledge to have received from Thomas Kneale on of the Exors of the
last Will and Testament of Thomas Kneale late of the parish of Kk Lonan
deceased the sum of Twenty pounds manks a Feather bed and bedding being the
whole of the Legacy left and bequeathed to my said wife in and by the said
will of the said Thomas Kneale.   And I do hereby release acquit and
discharge the said Thomas Kneale his Heirs Exors Admors & Assigns of the
same & every part thereof forever
