82          Maughold
   The last will and testament of Margaret Corteen widow of Ballnasholage
   in the parish of KK Maughold made the 4th day of Jun 1817.
   She committed her soul to God and body to a Christian burial.
First She left and bequeathed to her eldest son and heir Thomas Corteen all  
   her part of the husbandry gears; the herring barrells; and the large meal
   hogset.
Item She left and bequeathed to her son Robert Corteen the second best of the
   feather beds and two suits of bed clothes, two pillows, two pillowcases,
   and two fine sheets. She likewise bequeathed to her aforsd son Robert
   all the sums of money that he had received from her hands and likewise
   all the sums of money that she paid upon his accounts and also the sum
   of twelve guineas and the one third of all her sheep.
Item She left and bequeathed to their daughter Ann Quayle the principal sum
   of a Bill of Mortgage upon the lands of Tallow Queen consisting the sum
   of fifty pounds with the interest becoming due thereon and that she the
   aforsd Ann Quayle do give to her daughter Isabella wife of James Callow the
   sum of seventeen pounds British of the aforesd principal sum of fifty pounds
   which she the testator do leave and bequeath unto the aforesd Isabella
   Quayle else Callow.
Item She likewise left and bequeathed to her daughter Ann Quayle a cow.
Item She left and bequeathed to William Quayle's three sons namely John, William,
   and Thomas the sum of one pound British each and one sheep to each of them.
Item She left and bequeathed to her daughter Ann and Sarah her shaped cloths
   equally between them.
Item: She left to her daughter Ann Quayle the one half of the wooden
   dishes, cans, tubs and chairs.
Item She left and bequeathed to Isabella Callow her granddaughter the
   blue sett of tea cups and saucers the little spinning wheel , a green
   cotton gown, small bed and one sheet.
Item she left and bequeathed to Daniel Callow the sum of seven guineas and
   the bed and bed clothes that he sleeps on; the one third of the sheep; all
   his shirts that he have in his possession.
Item she left to Ellinor Callow the sum of ten shillings and six pence
   British.
Item She left to Mary Kelly a read cotton bedgown and a wearing handkerchief.
Item She left to John Corteen, Nichlas Corteen's son the sum of one
   pound British & likewise a sheep
Item She left to Margaret Corteen, Ramsey, a stumped bed gown and a shift.
Item she left to James Kirmeenıs poor son half a guinea.
Item She left to the poor girl Ellinor Stole half a guinea.
Item She left to Ann Carran one guinea
Item She left and bequeath to her brother John Kerruishıs four children one
   sheep to each of them.
Item She left and bequeathed to her son Thomas's son namely Robert all her
   parts of the horses and two sheep and also the sum of one guinea. 
Item She left to her son Thomasıs son namely Thomas the sum of one guinea 
   and also one sheep.
Item She left to her son Thomas 's son namely John the sum of one guinea.
Item She left to her brother John Kerruish's son namely William the
   sum of one guinea.
Item She left to each craver that would claim a right to this her last
   will  the sum of five shillings.
Item She left to each of the witnesses of this her last will the sum of
   five shillings.
Lastly she nominated constituted and appointed her daughter Sarah
   whole and sole executrix of all the rest of her goods and effects
   moveable and unmoveable of what nature or kind soever.

William Kerruish husband of the executrix sworn executor in court in
form of law and hath given pledges for the payment of debts and legacies
namely the witnesses of the will.
