Judith Bridson, 1821

At a Chapter Court holden in Douglas 15 May 1821.
Judith Bridson having departed this life on or about the 6th Jan last
intestate and this court having received intelligence thereof hath
decreed her children Elizabeth and Anne co-aministrators of all and singular
her effects and they being of tender age their father Thomas Bridson is
sworn in trust for them well and  truly to administer the
estate of their intestate mother, to exhibit inventory and pay debts so
far forth as goods will extend and the law bind him and as guardian and
supervisor of the children who are under age. And to these ends he hath
given pledges in form of law namely John Clucas and Matthias Caine both
of Douglas Decretum est  T. Stephen
