Maughold 1821
The last will and testament of Jane Logan widow of Robt Logan of Dreemsharry
in the parish of Maughold being of well and disposing mind memory and
understanding at making the same
First she committed her soul to God and her body to Christian burial.
She leaves and bequeathes to her two grandsons that lives with her viz
Robert Logan and Wm Christory the sum of ten pounds British which she has in
the hands of her sister Christian Callow hands equally between
them.
She leave and bequeathes to her grand daughter Anne Agnew the sum of twenty
pounds British one cow one camp bedstead two feather beds and bedding to
each a chest of drawers one chest and all and every article contained in the
corner cubboard that stands in the parlour.
She leaves and bequeathes to her four daughters Jane, Christian, Anne
and Mary the whole of her moiety of a house situate in the town of Douglas
equally between them.
She leaves to her daughter Mary all her wearing apparel.
She leaves the sum of six pence each to all and every person craving a
legacy in this her last will.
She nominates constitutes and appoints her son Robert Logan whole and sole
executor of all her other goods credits chattels and effects of whatsoever
name nature or denomination. Jane Logan her x
