Jurby
In the name of God Amen - The 10th day of March 1821.
The last will and testament of David Moughtin of the parish of Jurby who
being weak in body but of perfect mind and memory at the making hereof.
First he committed his soul to Almighty God and his body to a decent
Christian burial.
Secondly I leave and bequeath to my son Charles the sum of twenty shillings
Manks.
Thirdly I leave to my daughter Catharine the sum of seven shillings
manks.
Fourthly I leave and bequeath to my son Robert seven shillings Manks.
Fifthly I leave and bequeath to my daughter Lenora the sum of seven
shillings Manks.
Sixthly and lastly I leave and bequeath my well beloved wife Elizabeth
Moughtin alias Clark executrix of all the rest of my goods and effects
moveable and immoveable dead and alive of what denomination so ever.

At a Chapter Court holden in K Michael 23d Oct 1821.
Nothwithstanding the will is proved but by one witness yet as no
objection hath been offered, the executrix is sworn in court in form of
law and as guardian and supervisor of the child under age and for the
payment of debts and legacies - she hath given pledges namely Thomas
Corlett and John Wade the witness both of Jurby.
