          Andreas
The humble petition of James Radcliffe of the parish of Andreas.
Sheweth:  That James Radcliffe of Andreas aforesaid  petitioner's father and
Ann Radcliffe your petitioners mother having lately departed this
life intestate leaving behind them issue namely James, John, Anne, Mary,
Jane, Esther and Elizabeth Radcliffe who are all agreed that your
petitioner should be sworn in administration of the personal estate of
his said parents and the goods and effects of the deceadants requiring
the most immediate care and management those concerned your petitioner has
been well advised cannot legally proceed to the
management thereof until they or one of them are or is sworn administrators
thereof.
In tender consideration of all and singular the promises your petitioner
humbly prays for a speedy hearing of this petition that your petitioner
may with all convenient speed be sworn administrator of the respective
estate of the deceased James Radcliffe and Anne Radcliffe his wife whereby
he can be only authorized to proceed to the care and
management of the said estate with such other and further relief in the
promises as to your Reverence shall seem meet and petitioner will pray.
Ordered that this petition do come on to be heard at Consistorial Court
to be holden in Ramsey the 31st instant whereof all proper persons and
parties to have due notice.
Given at Ramsey this 26th day of January 1822.  Thomas Cubbon

James and his wife Anne Radcliffe of Andreas having both departed this life
in or about the month of September last intestate and this court having
received intelligence thereof and upon the humble petitions of James
Radcliffe the younger hath decreed their children John, Anne,
Mary, Jane, Hester, and Elizabeth together with the petitioner James
aforesaid co-administrators of all and singular the goods rights credits
chattels and effects moveable and immoveable whatever of the
intestates and he the said James Radcliffe with the consent of his said
brothers and sisters is sworn in trust well and truly to administer the
estates of the intestates respectively to exhibit inventories and pay
debts and to be true and just to his co-administrators in the division of
the residues and to  these ends he hath given pledges in form of law namely
William Teare and Thomas Fayle of Andreas.
