In the name of God Amen.
I Christopher Bridson of the parish of Malew being advanced in age,
infirm in health, but, of sound mind and memory am disposed to make my last
will and testament in manner following.
First I commit my soul to God and my body to Christian Burial.
Secondly I leave and bequeath to all my children namely John, Ann, Margaret,
Esther, Elinor, and Elizabeth five pounds British a piece. Lastly
I nominate and appoint my wife Ann Bridson sole executrix of all my
worldly goods moveable and immovable of what nature soever, excluding
all persons that might claim any interest in my will with six pence
legacy.
Signed and declared by the testator to be his last will and testament in
presence of us this 2nd day of Feb 1821 and devised us to witnesses the
same.

5 Nov 1823 at Castle Rushen the executor was sworn in court in form of law
and hath given pledges for the payment of debts and legacies namely Thomas
Cowley the witness and John Bridson both of Malew.
