This affirmed by the witnesses
whose names are hereunto subscribed to be
the last Will and Testament of David
Loson of the parish of Jurby who on the
29th of January instant being sick and
weake in body but of a sound disposing mind
memory and understanding did proclaim
pronounce and declare his last will and
testatment in manner and form following.
First he commited his soul to God and
his body to Christian burial.
He left and bequeathed unto his son Thomas the
sum of five shillings.
Also he left and bequeathed unto his son
James the sum of five shillings.
Lastly he left and bequeathed to his
brother William Loson all the rest of his goods
cash credits and effects of whatsover nature
and denomination whom he also nominated
constuted and appointed sole Executor of
this his last Will and Testament.
And one shilling each to the witnesses of this his will
Signed by the testator in
our presence the 29th of David Loson his mark X
January 1823
