At a Chapter Court holden in Douglas the 2 Jun 1823
Ann Kelly of the parish of Marown having departed this life on or about
the 23 January last intestate and this court having received intelligence
thereof hath decreed her children Thomas, James, Robert, William, Jane,
Elizabeth, and Annie co-admors of all and singular the goods, rights,
credits, chattels, and effects moveable and immoveable whatever of
their intestate mother, and they having relinquished the burden of this
administration to their father William Kelly he is thereupon sworn well
and truly to administer the estate of his intestate, to exhibit a full and
perfect inventory to the Episcopal Registry to pay all her just debts so
far forth as goods will extend and the law bind him and as guardian and
supervisor of the  children under age and to these ends he hath given
pledges in form of law namely Robert Cretney of Marown and Matthias Curphey
of Braddan.
