Lezayre
In the name of God Amen.
I Margaret Kneale alias Killip widow in the parish of Lezayre being of
sound disposing mind and memory do make this my last will and
testament in manner and form following.
First I recommend my soul to God and my body to Christian burial.
Item I leave and bequeath to my daughter Jane Kneale the whole of my lands
during her natural life time and the said land to be immediately possessed
by my son Ewan Kneale after her decease. Further I leave to
my said daughter Jane Kneale my bed and beddings with a trunk and my
cloathing both woollen and linnin of what kind soever, with a round table
and my wheel.
Item: I leave and bequeath to my sons William and Thos Kneale two
guineas each to be paid unto them by my executor hereafter mentioned when he
possessed the whole of the lands.
Lastly I nominate constitute ordain and appoint my loving son Ewan
Kneale whole and sole executor of all the rest of my goods chattels and
effects of what kind nature or denomination soever and six pence each to all
claimers and to the witnesses one shilling and two pence each in witnesses
whereof I have hereunto caused my name and mark to be hereunto set and
subscribed this 15th of June 1812.

At a Chapter Court holden in Ramsey 28th October 1823. The executor is
sworn in court in form of law and hath given pledges for the payment of
debts and legacies namely the witnesses of the will.
