In the name of God Amen.
I Isabella Maddrell of Ballamaddrell in the parish of K Arbory being of a
sound mind and disposing memory do ordain and appoint my last will and
testament as follows:
First of all I commit my soul to the hands of the Almighty God who give it
me and my body to a desent Christian burial.
And touching the worldly goods which God has been pleased for to bless me
with I dispose of them as follows.
First I leave and bequeath to my daughter Elizabeth Maddrell the sum of one
hundred pounds British a feather bed and bedding.
Secondly I leave and bequeath to my daughter Margaret Maddrell the sum of
one hundred pounds British a feather bed and bedding.
Thirdly I leave and bequeath to my daughter Jane Maddrell one hundred pounds
British a feather bed and beddings.
Fourth I leave all my wearing apperil to be divided equally between my three
daughters namely Elizabeth Margaret and Jane Maddrell.
Fiftly I leave and bequeath to my son John Maddrell the sum of one pound one
shilling British.
Sixthly I leave and bequeath to my son Robert Maddrell the sum of one
hundred pounds British and if any one of my aforesaid daughters or my son
Robert dieth before they arrive to the age of twenty one years of age that
then and in that case that her or his legacy is to come to the survivors or
survivor of them equally between them and if my son Robert Maddrell do come
in heirs at law that then and in that case his hundred pounds legacy is to
come to his surviving sisters or sister equally.
Seventhly I do further ordain that the use of all these legacys is to be
allowed for the keeping of them untill they come to the age of one and
twenty years.
Lastly I ordain and appoint my beloved husband John Maddrell my wholr and
sole executor of all the rest of my goods chattels and effects of whatever
kind or nature soever cutting all others claimants off with six pence
legacy.
In testimony thereof I have hereunto subscribed my name or mark this 2nd
June 1824.
