Andreas
At a Chapter Court holden at Ramsey the 28th day of October 1824. William
Martin of the parish of Andreas having departed this life in or
about the month of September last intestate and this court having received
intelligence thereof hath decreed his children John, William, Thomas, James,
Robert, Edward, Jane and Mary Ann co-administrators of all and singular the
goods rights credits chattels and effects moveable
and immoveable of their intestate father and they being of to tender
years to undertake the burden of this administration their mother Jane
Martin is sworn for them in trust well and truly to administer the said
estate to exhibit an inventory into the Episcopal Registry to pay all just
debts so far forth as the goods will extends and the law bind her and to
render a faithful account of her proceedings herein when thereunto lawfully
required she is also sworn guardian and supervisor of the aforesaid children
under age and to these ends she hath given pledges in form of law namely
John Teare father of the administratrix of Andreas and Thomas Teare.
