In the name of God Amen.
I Elizabeth Quine of the parish of KK Santan being of sound and disposing
mind and memory and understanding at the time of the making hereof but
considering the uncertainty of this life do make, publish, and declare
this to be my last will and testament in manner and form following.
I commit my soul to God and my body to be buried at the discretion of my
executrix hereinafter mentioned.
I leave and bequeath unto my son John Quine of aforesaid parish of KK Santan
all and singular my part of moiety of those  lands and premises with the
houses and edifices thereon erected situate in the said parish which I and
my husband Thomas Quine purchased from Thomas Callow by Deed dated on or
about the 20th day of May 1793 with the appurtenances unto the said premises
belonging.
I also leave and bequeath unto him my said son John Quine all my part or
moiety of that field or enclosure from George Quinney and his mother by Deed
dated on or about the 8th day of January 1805 with the appurtenances unto
the said premises belonging the whole  of the aforesaid premises being part
of the quarterland of Glongrenogh he my said son John Quine paying unto my
executrix hereinafter mentioned the sum of ninety-five pounds Manks and it
is my special will and desire
that if he my aforesaid son John Quine will not  accept of the aforesaid
premises on the conditions already expressed as aforesaid then and in
that case I leave and bequeath the whole of my said right and interest of
and unto the before mentioned property namely the premises purchased from
Thomas Callow with the houses and edifices thereon erected and appurtenances
thereunto belonging and the field or enclosure of ground purchased from
George Quinney and his mother with its appurtenances unto my daughter Ann
Quine my executrix hereinafter mentioned she my said executrix paying unto
my said son John Quine the sum of two pounds as a legacy in  case of his
refusing to accept of the aforesaid property. Also she my said executrix is
to pay for the said land the sum of twenty pounds if my other property will
not be sufficient to pay the legacies by me hereinafter  bequeathed and if
he my aforesaid son John Quine does
not signify his acceptance of the aforesaid premises on the conditions
herein before mentioned within three months after he being made acquainted
with this my will that then and in that case she my said executrix is to
enter upon the premises and to hold the same as her proper right forever.
I leave and bequeath unto my son Edward Quine the sum of two pounds.
I leave and bequeath unto my son William Quine the sum of two pounds.
I leave and bequeath unto my daughter Esther Crellin the sum of fifteen
pounds.
I leave and bequeath unto my daughter Isabella Corkill the sum of fifteen
pounds.
I leave and bequeath unto all other claimers the sum of five shillings
each.
I leave devise and bequeath all the rest residue and remainder of my
goods property and effects of what kind or nature soever unto my aforesaid
daughter Ann Quine and do hereby nominate, constitute, and appoint her my
aforesaid daughter Ann Quine whole and sole executrix
and residuary legatee of this my last will and testament hereby revoking and
making void all other will or wills by me at any time heretofore
made and executed and do declare this only to be my last will and testament.
As witness my subscription this the 27th day of March one thousand eight
hundred and twenty three.  The 27th day of March 1823. Elizabeth Quine my x
mark.
Signed published and declared by the said Testatrix as and for her last
will and testament in our presence who at her request in her presence
and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as
witnesses.

At a Chapter Court holden at Castletown on the 27th day of October
1824.
John Brown husband of Ann Quine in the foregoing will named is sworn
well and truly to administer the estate and effects of Elizabeth Quine
deceased to pay all just debts and legacies so far forth as the goods will
extend and the law bind him and to return a true and perfect inventory of
said estate into the Episcopal Registry when thereunto lawfully
required.  And to these ends he William Moore and John Karran both of the
parish of Santan have entered into a bond in the penal sum of two
hundred pounds British to the Lord Bishop and his successors bearing
equal date herewith.   Will Roper

Legacy of 95 Manks payable to Ann Brown als Quine by John Quine be cancelled
by receipt on the will of Thos Quine in 1st Lib Test 1826 dated 9th Jan
1829.
