In the name of God Amen.
I Cath Norman of the town of Douglas widow do make this my last will
and testament in manner following:
That is to say, I give and bequeath unto my grandchildren Catherine, Joseph
and Robert Norman children of my son Shuttleworth Norman deceased the sum of
ninety pounds British equally to be divided between them share and share
alike or unto such of them as shall be living at the time of my decease.
I give and bequeath unto my grandson John Martin the sum of one hundred
pounds British.
I give and bequeath unto my grandson Henry Duke Norman and to my grandson
James Remington Norman the sum of five pounds British each.
I give and bequeath unto my son in law Edward Martin the sum of five pounds
British.
I give and bequeath unto Isabella Norman widow of my son Shuttleworth Norman
a feather bed.
I give and bequeath unto my granddaughters Catherine Norman my
wearing apparel and I give and bequeath unto my said grandson Henry
Duke Norman and James R. Norman all the residue and remainder of my property
and effects equally to be divided between them. And I do direct that the
said several legacies shall be paid and payable to such of my
said children as shall not have attained the age of twenty one years
when they shall respectively attain that age and that in the mean time
the interest thereof be paid by my executor towards their maintenance and
education and I do nominate and appoint Charles Geneste of the town of
Douglas, Advocate, executor of this my will. In witness whereof I
have hereunto subscribed my name the 25th day of Feb 1825.
