In the name of God Amen.
I Isabella Quine of the town of Douglas widow being of sound and
disposing mind memory and understanding do make this my last will and
testament in manner following.
I give and bequeath unto Edward Curphey of the town of Douglas cooper and
Thomas Cowin of the said town Shopkeeper the sum of ten pounds British in
trust to be paid and applied towards the support and maintenance of my son
Samuel Quine in such manner as  the said Edward Curphey and Thos  Cowin
shall direct and appoint but not to be subject to the debts or engagements
of the said Samuel Quine.
I leave and bequeath to Catherine Quine wife of the said Samuel Quine
the sum of ten pounds British for her own sole and separate use and benefit
exclusively of her husband and not to be subject or liable to his debts
control or interference.
I leave and bequeath to between and among the children of my said son Samuel
Quine and Catherine his wife who shall be living at the time of
my death and shall attain the age of twenty one years the sum of thirty five
pounds British to be divided between and among such children in
equal shares and proportions on their attaining the age of twenty one years.
I leave and bequeath to my brother Thomas Kissack the sum of ten pounds
British.
I leave and bequeath to my sister Margt Kissack the sum of twenty five
pounds British.
I leave and bequeath  Elizabeth Clucas alias Leece of Corvalla in the
parish of Marown widow the sum of five pounds British.
I leave and bequeath to Ann Kermode wife of John Kermode of Douglas --------
the sum of ten pounds British.
I leave and bequeath unto Margt Kinley (daughter of Thomas and Mary Kinley)
who lives with me the sum of twenty pounds British to be paid to her on her
attaining the age of twenty one years.
I leave and bequeath unto Isabella Jane McGill daughter of Esther wife of
James Cassedy the sum of ten pounds British.
I leave and bequeath unto the Treasurer for the time being of the Daily
and Sunday Schools instituted in the town of Douglas in the year 1810
the sum of five pounds British for the benefit of the said institution.
I leave and bequeath unto the Chaplain and Wardens of Saint Mathews Chapel
in the town of Douglas for the time being the sum of ten pounds British to
be by them applied to and for the use and benefit of the poor of the said
town of Douglas.
I leave and bequeath unto  Edward Curphey of the  town of Douglas Cooper the
sum of  twenty pounds British.
I leave and bequeath unto Margt Kinley wife of Thos Kinley (who lives
with me) a feather bed and bed clothes
I leave and bequeath unto Samuel Quine my grandson my clock.
And I nominate constitute and appoint Edward Curphey of the town of Douglas
cooper and Thos Cowin in the said town Shopkeeper executors of this my will.
In witnesses whereof I have hereunto subscribed my name the 9th day of
January in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and  twenty four.

Executors sworn 15 Jul 1825 both John Hogg and Thos Clague have entered into
a bond of two hundred and fifty pounds .

28 Apr 1826 - Received from Mr Edward Curphey by Capt Gill the sum of Ten
pounds British  a legacy left my wife Ann Kermode by her great Aunt Isabella
Quine late of Douglas.

9 Apr 1835 Elizabeth Quine received sum of four pounds five shilling and
eight pence half penny being in full for my proportion or share of thirty
pounds bequeathed by Mrs Isabella Quine to the children of her son
Samuel Quine by her last will and testament dated 9th Jan 1824 and I do
exonerate him and Thomas Cowin trustees to the said estate of Isabella
Quine.

Also Edward Quine received his share (son of Samuel)
on 24 July 1834.
Also Thomas Quine son of Samuel received his share on 25 June 1827.
Also John Quine received his share on 9 July 1827.
Isabella Jane McGill received 9 Feb 1828 ten pounds.
Margaret Kinley received twenty pounds 24 Feb 1832.
Robert Corlett Warden of St Matthew¹s Chapel received 28 Feb 1828 sum of ten
pounds.
J. Lowry Treasurer of Daily and Sunday School in town of Douglas
received five pounds 10 Feb 1828.
5 Sep 1826 John Kissack brother to Isabella Quine received ten pounds
British
21 Aug 1826 Margt Kissack also a sister of Isabella Quine received
twenty five pounds.
Elizabeth Clucas receive 21 Aug 1826 sum of twenty pounds British. Samuel
Quine received 25 Apr 1828 ten pounds.
26 Apr 1826 - Catherine Quine received ten pounds British.
