         In  the  name  of  God  Amen
This is affirmed to be the last will and testament of 
Thomas Haines of the town of Ramsey superannuated Surgeon 
of his Majesty,s Royal Navy who being of sound disposing 
mind memory and understanding, declares the same as follows.

First I give and bequeath to my sons Thomas Haines and 
Wm Haines the sum of five shillings British each.

Secondly I give, - Grant, Devise and Bequeath to my 
beloved wife Margaret Haines all my lands Houses and concerns 
to which I am entitled within the Isle of Man, that is to say 
a parcel of land part of the quarter land of Ballure in this 
Parish of Maughold which I purchased some time ago from Wm  
Corlett and Jane his wife.
Also another parcel of land in the Parish of Lezayre which 
I purchased from DL. Garrett and wife by deed dated 13th. 
January 1817 called the Shanvally and Laggah,
Together with a right of road to the same belonging as mentioned 
and described in and by the said Deed TO HAVE and TO HOLD onto 
her the said Margaret Haines Her Heirs and assigns All and 
Singular the Lands, Premises and concerns aforesaid together 
with all ways Waters Watercourses Easements Priviliges and 
appurtinances unto the same severally belonging or in 
anywise appertaining .

Thirdly I leave devise and bequeath  unto her the said Margaret  
Haines all my personal property of every description, that is 
to say Mortgages, Bonds, Notes, Obligations, _ and Securities. 
Household  Furniture Goods, chattels and effects, and do nominate, 
constitute, ordain and appoint her the said  Margaret Haines 
sole and whole Executrix of this my last will and Testament and  
Residuary Legatee.  
In witness whereof I have hereunto subscribed my name and affixed 
my Seal this 15th. Day of February in the year of our lord One  
Thousand Eight hundred and Twenty two.
