In the name of God Amen.
I Ann Caine otherwise Kneale of the parish of Kirk Michael being weak in
body but of sound mind memory and understanding at making this my last will
and testament.
I commend my soul to God and my body to decent Christian burial.
I leave and bequeath to my daughter Ann Elizabeth Caine five pounds British
and a chest of drawers.
I leave and bequeath to my daughter Jane Five pounds British, two blankets
and the chest in the closet.
I leave and bequeath to my daughter Mary five pounds two blankets and a box
that is on the garrett(attic).
I leave and bequeath to my daughterElizabeth five pounds British and two
blankets as legacy and a blue chest.
I leave and bequeath to my aforesaid daughters all my shaped clothes and
apparel to be divided equally between them.
I leave and bequeath to my beloved husband John Caine all my houses and
lands whom I also nominate ordain and appoint sole executor of all my goods,
credits, chattels and effects of what kind or nature soever cutting off or
debarring all claimers with one shilling legacy as witness my name this 21st
day of October 1826.

At a Chapter Court holden at KK Michael 17th Nov 1826.
John Caine in the foregoing will named is sworn well and truly to administer
the estate and effects of his wife Ann Caine als Kneale deceased to pay all
just debts and legacies so far forth as goods will extend and the law bind
him and to return a true and perfect inventory of the estate into the
Episcopal Registry when thereunto lawfully required and to these ends John
Caine and John Caine have entered into a bond in the final sum of ninety
pounds British to the Lord Bishop and his successors bearing equal date
herewith.

John Caine made oath on the Holy Evangelists that the personal property
whereof Ann Caine died possessed, will not exceed in value ninety pounds to
the best of deponent's knowledge, information and belief. Witness his name
this 17th day of November 1826 John Caine
Taken and sworn before me, Will Roper.
Know all men, by presents, that we, John Caine in the parish of Michael and
John Caine in the parish of Michael are held and firmly bound to George,
Lord Bishop of Sodor and Mann, and his successors, in the sum of ninety
pounds British; to the Payment whereof well and truly to be made, we bind
Ourselves, our Heirs, executors, Administrators, and assigns, jointly and
severally, by these present, to the said Lord Bishop and his Successors.
Witness our subscriptions, this 17th day of November 1826.
Whereas the Ecclesiastical Court of this land hath this day granted probate
of the last will of Ann Caine deceased, to John Caine and Now the condition
of the above obligation is such, that if the said executor shall well and
truly administer the estate and effects of the said deceadent and shall in
all Things relating thereto conform to the Laws of this Isle, the Orders of
the Ecclesiastical Courts thereof, and the oath he hath this day taken, then
the foregoing obligation to be void, otherway to, be and remain in full
force and virtue in Law.
