To the Reverend Thomas Cubbon
Cler***vicar general of the Diocese of Sodar-and Man
The humble Petition of Margaret Garrett widow
and relect of Daniel Garrett of Lezayre deceased.
Sheweth/
That your Petioner said husband departed
this life on or about the 24th.April
last intestate.
That your Petit* relative to a late
transaction that have lately occurred -
The said estate requires -
the most early attention to be paid thereto.
Your Petitioner therefore humbly prays
your Reverence may be pleased to
grant administration of the said
estate to your Petitioner - or some other
proper person - in order that
the same may be properly adjusted -
or such other relief to your Petit
as to your reverence may **** meet, and your
Petitioner as in duty bound shall ever pray.
Ordered that this Petition so come on to be heard at
an Ecclesiastical Court to be holden att Milltown on
Wednesday the 31st.instant whereof all proper parties
are to have **** notice

At an Eccl court holden at Milltown the 31st. May 1826
Daniel Garrett of the parish of Lezayre having departed
this life on or about the 24th.of April last intestate.
The court having received intelligence thereof
hath decreed his five children namely - William
Nathaniel Margaret Elizabeth and Mary Ann
Garrett Co-administrators of all, his goods
rights credits and effects moveable and immoveable whatever.
The administration of the said intestate, estate is
committed to their Mother Margaret Garrett
by consent of her son William being the onely
child at age-whereupon the said Margaret Garrett
is sworn guardian of the children under age and
in trust for them well and truly to administer
the Estate of the intestate, to exhibit a perfect
inventory thereof in to the Episcopal Registry
to pay all of his Just debts so far forth as
the goods will extend and the law bind her,
and to be accountable for her administration
when thereunder lawfully required and to these
ends she has given pledges in form of law --- namely
William Garrett her son
William Cowell of Grest both of the Parish of Lezayre
