Patrick

In the Name of God Amen.
I William Clague of the town of Peel
but at present in Reaby beg in the parish
of KK Patrick being sick and weak in body,
but of sound mind memory and understanding
at the making hereof and calling to mind the
uncertainty of this mortal Life and willing
to settle my worldly affairs  before my decease
do make this my last Will and Testament in
manner and form following.
Imprimis - I commit my Soul to Almighty God and
my body to a decent Christian burial.
Item - I leave devise and bequeath unto my
loving wife Mary Clague otherwise Nelson
all my part or share of them lands which was
some time ago purchases by me and my said 
wife [known] and commonly Shallow Cain
the same situate in the parish of KK Patrick
or otherwise called ??? Cain.
Item - I leave devise and bequeath unto my 
daughter Ann the wife of Charles Quane five
shillings Legacy.
Item - I leave devise and bequeath unto my
daughter Catherine wife of William Gell
five shillings Legacy.
Item - I leave devise and bequeath unto my 
daughter Elizabeth the wife of Thomas Cubbon
five shillings legacy.
Item - I leave devise and bequeath unto my
daughter Marcion the wife of Humphrey Callister
five shillings legacy.
Item - I leave devise and bequeath unto my 
son William Clague five shillings legacy.
Item - I leave devise and bequeath unto the
poor of the parish of KK Patrick five shillings
the same to be divided among them by the
Vicar and Wardens of s. parish.
And lastly I nominate constitute and appoint 
my said wife Mary Clague Whole and Sole
Executrix of all the rest of my monies goods
and chattels of moveable and immoveable be
they of what kind or denomination soever and
of this my Last Will excluding and debarring
any person that might claim in this my Will
with sixpence legacy.

the subscribing witnesses this 29th
day of June 1827 - viz

At a Chapter Court holden
at Peel Town the 30th April 1827.
The Exorx. is sworn in Court in form
of Law and hath given Pledges for the
payment of Debts and Legacies namely
William Moore of the Parish of Patrick
and William Clague of the Parish of Ger-
man.
