19 Michael In the name of God Amen. I Isabella Kelly otherwise Quayle of the parish of Kirk Michael being of sound mind and memory at making this my last will and testament. First I commend my soul to God and my body to Christian burial. I leave and bequeath to my daughter Catherine ten pounds British and one of the best chests in the loft. I leave and bequeath to my daughter Elizabeth all my purchased houses and lands situate in the aforesaid parish of Kirk Michael whether quarterland cottage or intact reserving the issues and profits of the same to my beloved husband John Kelly during his life time whom I also nominate constitute ordain and appoint sole executor of all the rest of my goods chattels credits and effect so what kind or nature soever. Cutting off and debarring all claimers with one shilling legacy. As witness my name this 26th day of June 1823. Isabella Kelly her X Witnesses present: John Crellin John Caine. John Kelly sworn as executor 25 Nov 1830. John Caine and John Cannon pledges I Philip Quayle husband of Catherine Quayle als Kelly of the parish of KK Michael do hereby acknowledge to have received from William Caine of the said parish of KK Michael the executor of the last will and testament of John Kelly deceased who was the executor of Isabella Kelly his late wife also decease the sum of ten pounds British and one of the best chests on the loft in her house being the whole of the legacy left and bequeathed to my wife in and by the last will of Isabella Kelly and I do hereby release acquit and discharge the said William Caine his heirs executors administrators and assigns of the same and every part thereof forever.
