In the name of God Amen.
I George Byne of the town of Douglas do hereby make this my last will
and testament in manner following:
That is to say.
I leave and bequeath to my son Francis Basil Byne all monies belonging to me
at the time of my death together with all and singular my houshold furniture
books plate linen and glass but subject to the legacies herein after
mentioned. That is to say, I leave and bequeath to my daughter Emily
Tennison otherwise Byne wife of Captain Barton Tennison the sum
of ten pounds British as a legacy together with a plated coffee pot tea
pot and cream ewer.
I leave and bequeath to my female servants Isabella Bridson and Ann Boy the
sum of twenty five pounnds British each, over and besides decent mourning
upon my decease and such wages as may then be due to them. Lastly I hereby
nominate and appoint my aforesaid son Francis Basil
Byne whole and sole executor of this my will and residuary legatee of all
the rest and residue of my property hereby revoking all former wills by me
at any time heretofore made.
In testimony whereof I have hereunto subscribed my name and affixed my seal
this Ninetienth day of March one thousand eight hundred and thirty two.
