To the Vicar General Nelson
The humble petition of Charles Radcliffe of
Ballaseyr in the parish of Andreas
Sheweth,
That your petitioner’s Brother William lately departed this life intestate and
unmarried.
That the next of kin of the said intestate are his mother Anne Lace ,widow and his
sisters Anne and Elizabeth being minors and your petr.
That it is necessary that administration be granted to some proper
person of the personal estate of the said William Lace.
Wherefore Petr prayed hearing and that your
Reverence may be pleased to appoint some proper person admin and
petr shall pray.

The Petr Charles Lace is sworn well and truly to administer the estate and effects of Wm Lace
and to pay his debts and funeral expenses so far as the goods will extend and the law bind him,
to return a full inventory of the effects and an accurate account of all his transactions touching
the same unto the Episcopal Registry of this Isle when thereto required and to these ends the
said Charles Lace and William Lace of Andreas have entered into a bond in the sum of five
pounds Brit.

John Sayle both of Andreas.
