In the Name of God Amen 
I, James Fell being weake but of sound mind and memory do make this my last 
will and testament.
I give and Recommend my soul to God and my Body to Decent Christian Burial.
I give and bequeath unto my son John Fell and to my Daughter Margaret Fell 
alias Collister all my goods [moities] mortgages chattles  monies of whatever 
kind or nature to be Equally divided between them and to be Enjoyed by the 
both Share & Share alike.
I give and bequeath unto any other of my sons or Relations claiming any thing 
on my Estate the sum of one Shilling 
I appoint my daughter Margaret Fell alias Collister, the Executor and Guardian 
of my said son John Fell by Revoking all other will or wills.  
Witness my name this 7th day of Sept1832

At a Chapier Court, holden at Douglas 9th November, 1832
James Fell of the Parish of Krik Braddan having departed 
this life on or about the 10th September last pd the 
Exutrx renouncing the execution of his will and this 
Court having received intelligence thereof, has 
(for the preservation of the rights of all Persons 
concerned) DECREED Christopher Karran Sumner of Braddan 
Administrator cum testaments anneso 
of all and singular the Goods, Rights, Credits, Chattels, 
and Effects, moveable and immoveable whatever of the 
said Deceadent. And he the said Christopher Karran is X-X- 
thereupon sworn, well and truly to administer the 
same, to pay all the Intestate’s just Debts, so far 
forth as the Goods will extend and the Law bind; 
and return into the EPISCOPAL REGISTRY a full, true, and 
perfect Inventory thereof, and an accurate Account of 
all Transactions, touching the same when thereunto 
lawfully required
Probatum et Decretum est.
